Bus Routes
For security purposes, bus routes will no longer be publicly published.
If you need any transportation assistance, please contact the Transportation Department.
Bus App
We are currently deploying our new transportation system & smartphone app that parents/guardians & childcare facilities can use to see their student's bus routes, stop locations, planned stop times, estimated stop times, and up-to-the-minute bus locations.
The system is being rolled out in test phases by route so that we can better manage any issues that may occur. Each route requires driver training on new software and hardware mounted in the buses. The Red & Purple route drivers have completed their training and parents/guardians of students on those routes currently have access to the app. The Orange/Green route is the last route of these test phases. Training for the Orange/Green route driver will hopefully be completed in the next few weeks. After training is complete, an email will be sent out to all Orange/Green route parents/guardians about any bus stop updates as well as how to access and use the app.
For now, see the "How will I be notified about bus stop location and time information?" in the FAQ below to ensure access to the system.
Once the last test phase of the rollout is complete, a general announcement will be made to all parents/guardians & childcare facilities about the general availability of the app.
We appreciate your patience!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can bus stop locations be outside of the school district boundaries?
No. We only transport students within the Bentley Community School District.
How do I arrange bus transportation for my student?
Before a school session begins, arrangements must be made during the Online Registration phase of a student's enrollment into the schools.
After a school session begins, arrangements must be made by contacting the Transportation Department.
Will bus stop locations for students be directly in front of their address?
Sometimes. We typically only provide door-to-door service for preschoolers, kindergarteners, or students who have complicated medical needs. Otherwise, bus stop locations will be placed nearby within the neighborhood of the address specified.
How will I be notified about bus stop location and time information?
Parents/Guardians & child care facilities must ensure that the schools have their up-to-date email addresses (for specific route & stop notifications) and mobile phone numbers (for general announcements and smartphone app access) on file.
Why does my student need to be at the bus stop 5 minutes early?
Early Arrival: Not all scheduled students ride everyday, especially on bad weather days. This may cause some stops to be skipped, therefore causing stops later along the route to occur earlier than planned.
Early or Late Arrival: Unpredictable events like accidents, traffic, trains, weather, and other conditions may also cause stop times to occur earlier or later than planned due to rerouting or delays.
How do I request a bus stop location change? For example: My student is dropped off in our neighborhood, but now needs to be dropped off at a child care facility.
Parents/Guardians must confirm all bus stop requests 2 full days before the stop change is required by contacting the Transportation Department.
How do I cancel bus transportation for my student?
We strongly encourage cancelling bus transportation if your student no longer requires it. Our buses are often near capacity and other students may need the seat.
Parents/Guardians must cancel bus transportation by contacting the Transportation Department.
