Attention Bentley Community:
This is a reminder about Senior Prom, with the date set on the districts calendar since the school year began and communicated multiple times throughout the year in our senior communications.
There are a couple of key points we would like to discuss:
• Ticket Price Increase: $10 more per ticket to cover bussing to a "secret destination" (a student-requested pre-COVID tradition) and rising venue/food costs.
• Full School Day on Prom Friday: No day off for prep; exceptions for appointments (e.g., hair) require proof at least 24 hours in advance. If you choose not to attend school then we reserve the right to not allow you to attend prom that night.
• Skipping School on PSAT/SAT Concerns: Students skipping the PSAT (4/15 and 4/16) SAT (4/17/25) or school without valid excuses on testing days risk losing prom, as prom is a privilege tied to academic responsibility.
• Additional Efforts:
◦ Mrs. Gaby offers prom dresses; dress donations are also welcome.
◦ A community sponsorship program is an option for students facing financial hardship—contact the administration to sponsor or inquire.
