The Apptegy/Thrillshare platform, which includes our Bentley Community Schools app and the Thrillshare (Rooms) website, provides a seamless, unified experience for community members to communicate and access important information.

Each school organization within the district has the following sections:

• Feed: shows the organization's latest live feed posts.

• Rooms & Messages: provides a hub for our staff to communicate with parents/guardians and students. This section can also be accessed via the Thrillshare (Rooms) website (see the Rooms Support page for more information).

• Events: shows the organization's calendar events (see the Calendars page for more information).

• Staff: shows the organization's district's staff contact directories.

• Documents: shows the organization's public document archive.

Other features:

• Notifications: can be turned on in Settings.

• Help Center: shows instructions about how to use the app and the Thrillshare (Rooms) website.

TeacherVUE Website

The Waypoint platform, which includes the Waypoint Parents app, provides an easy way for parents/guardians and childcare facilities to track students' school buses by showing a map with the following:

• Planned routes

• Stop locations

• Scheduled & estimated stop times

• Live location within a minute or less

To log in, the app requires your registered mobile phone number the district has on file. This is the only method you can use to verify your identity.

Live location information becomes available as soon as the bus drivers have finished their pre-run checklists.

The following issues may occur:

• If there are technical issues or if a substitute driver has not been trained to use the new system, then live location information may not be available. If we have enough notice of this type of event, we will send a phone text message notification.

• If the information on the map does not look correct, then go back to the rider list screen and tap the circular-arrow-shaped reload icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Set up bus arrival notifications by tapping the gear-shaped settings icon in the top right corner of the screen, then tap Notification Settings. There, you can choose to receive a notification at a specific amount of time before the bus arrives (for example, 10 minutes).

Please note:

• The notifications may not be seen or heard if your phone's Do Not Disturb mode is turned on.

• This feature is still in development and may not work on all smartphone models.
